Kevin McDonnell, senior vice president and consumer area executive for Bank of America, helps 82-year-old veteran John Jefferson, pick his suit jacket at the 2012 Stand Down event. Approximately 1,400 veterans in addition to volunteers, including 30 from Bank of America, were in attendance for Saturday’s event at the Rocky Hill Veterans Hospital, where veterans received health screenings, veteran benefit information, legal and motor vehicle assistance, and employment and educational assistance.
