Cruz / Schroeder Family

As many of you know, the Cruz/Schroeder family from our community was affected by a horrible tragedy this past weekend. Since then there have been many phone calls and e-mails to Israel Putnam Elementary School asking what we as a community can do to support the Cruz/Schroeder family.  
A fund has been set up to benefit the Cruz/Schroeder family at People’s United Bank.  Donations may be sent directly to the fund at: Cruz & Schroeder Memorial Fund, in care of David R. Cavanaugh, Vice President, People’s United Bank, 1310 Silas Deane Highway, Wethersfield, CT 06109.  Or donations made out to the fund may be dropped off at Israel Putnam Elementary School, 133 Parker Avenue, Meriden, CT 06450 care of the PTO and we will ensure that these donations are deposited in to the fund.  
The Israel Putnam PTO in coordination with the Meriden Board of Education & Meriden's Spirit of Giving are planning an event to benefit the Cruz/Schroeder family. We will be sending out more information in the near future regarding the event.
