Car Wash Wil Honor Foundation Named for Fallen Hero

The following was submitted by the Meriden Police Department:

On Saurday, June 22, there will be a car wash held at 98 Main Street, South Meriden, to benefit the Dan G. Naimoli Foundation.

Naimoli was a police officer in Meriden for several years. He was a great cop and could be relied upon by his brother and sister officers as well as all of his supervisors. When a call came in Officer Naimoli was always "around the corner."

He was also a good friend to many, a father of two boys, a volunteer firefighter and proudly served this country in the US Military.

Sadly, in July 2010, Officer Naimoli untimely passed away. Officer Naimoli's family members organized this foundation as a way to carry on his legacy of civil service by providing resources to local and surrounding communities for fundraising and volunteer efforts.

This is the first official fundraising event for the foundation so please show your support for this foundation.
