City will choose this year's Little Miss Daffodil and her Honor Escort from Meriden's 11 elementary schools

Little Miss Daffodil and her "Honor Escort" will be chosen tonight in Hubbard Park at 6:30 p.m. Contenders are all students at the 11 public and private elementary schools in the city.

According to the Daffodil Festival website, this year's nominees for Little Miss Daffodil and her Escort, respectively, are:

Mt. Carmel - Alexia Litro and Tanner James McAuliffe
