Gallery 53, 53 Colony St., Meriden is
hosting an art show by the Ct. Pastal Sociey. The show, Journey of Peers, consists of paintings form the Pastal Society's trip to France.

The Gallery's monthly First Friday reception will be held on Friday, Sept. 7 from 4 - 7 P.M. come for art, appetizers and conversation. Gallery 53's artisian gift shop will
be open during all events and free parking is located across the street.

This fall, the Gallery will be offering two new programs. Open Studio is an opportunity for individual artists and artisans to rent studio space. Studio space can be rented in 2 hour blocks, the cost is $5.00 for members and $7.00
for non members. The second program, Anyone Can, is a unique art experience for groups of 8 - 12. For a nominal fee individual groups can experience a variety
of art forms, no experience is necessary. Instructor and art supplies are included.
