Motorists who pulled into Danby’s Gulf Express, at 872 East Main St., got a nice surprise on Saturday afternoon; gas that cost $2.99 per gallon. The reduced price was courtesy of the in Meriden and was offered for one hour Saturday afternoon in recognition of Easter, WTNH reported.
