Workshops, Employers Featured At Sept. 12 Job And Career Fair

More than 50 companies scheduled to participate at Danbury Hilton from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is free. BMW of Ridgefield, Cable Vision, FedEx, New York Life, United Technologies, and Banker's Life and Casualty among employers attending.


A series of workshops and more than 50 companies will be featured at a Sept. 12 job fair at the Ethan Allen/Hilton in Danbury, CT.      

Admission is free. The Ethan Allen Hotel, located at 21 Lake Avenue Extension, Danbury.

The workshops are sponsored by Ridley-Lowell Business & Technical Institute of Poughkeepsie, NY, and will be held throughout the day. One of the workshops is "Re-tooling your skills- Why now is a good time for a new career."

In addition, there will be nationally certified resume writers available for resume critiques, information on education and job training, information on veteran's services, career opportunities from state agencies, and access to CT JobCentral, which is the state Department of Labor's electronic job matching system and part of a nation-wide Internet employment network.
