GREATER MERIDEN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE – SOON TO BE MIDSTATE CHAMBER KICKS OF MEMBERSHIP BLITZ         

The Greater Meriden Chamber of Commerce – soon to be Midstate Chamber effective 3/1/14 – is kicking off their membership campaign on 1/30/14 and it will run through the end of February.

Rosanne P. Ford, Vice President of Membership Services, noted that: “ANYTIME is the BEST TIME to join our organization, however, we are creating our 2014 Member Directory and Resource Guide NOW for April distribution and businesses see a tremendous value in being listed in THE BOOK!” 

Only members in good standing are listed in the publication and by joining the chamber before 2/28/14, new members will be guaranteed a place in that publication.  A minimum of 5,000 copies are created in print and CD-ROM and are distributed throughout the area, throughout the year, in relocation packages, at chamber events and at member businesses.

The value of membership in the Midstate Chamber may be seen in our sustained membership base.  560+ members currently receive a clear return on investment by being a part of this group, central CT’s most active, respected and resourceful business organization. And, consumers are 73% more likely to be highly aware of a business if they are a member of the Chamber and 68% more likely to think positively of its local reputation.

A number of events are planned to invite potential members out to illustrate the value, access, opportunity and connections that membership in our Chamber provides to businesses and organizations! As a regional chamber, this chamber proudly serves, supports and promotes our member businesses in Meriden, Wallingford, Southington, Berlin, Cheshire, and other communities in Central Connecticut. Please consider your contacts in these areas and help them make the best decision they can make for their business by joining the Midstate Chamber.  These events include “after hours” networking events, a regional legislative breakfast and an educational workshop.  Also, SPECIAL INCENTIVES are available for the new members and any volunteers that help with the campaign!
