Connecticut the Constitution State

Today we can breathe a sigh of relief, the gun debate is over, the bill has passed and our illustrious Gov. Dan Malloy signed it into law, the criminals will now have to obey the law, they will all rush to register their large capacity magazines, they will certainly turn in their rifles and “assault weapon” they will now make sure to carry only ten rounds in their large capacity magazine to be in compliance before committing their crimes, they will only serve 85% of their time before being release early through the Risk Reduction Credit Program, today Connecticut residents and their children can feel safer, not like Chicago where there are more gun laws than one can count yet there are mass murder committed on a daily basis. Don’t worry about those folks that wanted to protect their right to lawfully own firearms to protect themselves and their families from those that will be release through Risk Reduction Credit Program (inmate early release program) and other criminal element; they are just gun toting yahoos. There is no need for them to own certain types of firearms, rifles or large capacity magazines; they should be ok with muskets and ten round magazines. If I was a legislator I would have offered an amendment to ban hunting and kitchen knives, hunting bow and arrows, iron rods, bats, tubes, chairs, scissors, pots and pans, etc. all which can be classified as “assault weapons”, but I digress, anyways now that this bill has passed and it is law, why stop with gun restriction, let’s go all out, onto to the next anti-constitutional agenda, onto the next tax and spend program, onto the next government encroachment, onto the next anti-business and job policy. I’m sure this will put Connecticut back on a path to recovery and everyone will be eager to come live in this state. But you deserve some credit, thank yourself for voting our current elected officials, thank yourself for the economic status of this state, thank yourself for the continued erosion of constitution, and thank yourself for just sitting back and not voting or not carefully selecting who you vote for. In the words of somebody “You get what you deserve.” Woe unto him/her that believes that Government is the solution to our problems, woe unto him/her that depends on Government for self-protection, woe onto him/her that believes Government should be in every aspect of our lives, woe unto him/her that believes one particular issue is not somehow connected to another, woe onto him/her that calls Evil Good and Good Evil for soon they will realize their erroneous ways.
