The Meriden Department of Public Works will begin curbside collection of Christmas trees on Monday.

 

Christmas Tree Collection Information 

The Meriden Department of Public Works will begin curbside collection of Christmas trees on Monday, January 7, 2013, for residents living east of the railroad tracks. The eastside collection will last through Friday, January 18. Beginning Tuesday, January 22, the collection will begin for residents living west of the railroad tracks. The westside collection will last through Friday, February 1. Kindly remove all decorations and lights prior to placing the tree at the curb.

Residents may bring their trees to the Transfer Station located on Evansville Ave during normal business hours. The hours are: Mondays from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM, Wednesdays from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM and the first and third Saturdays of the month from 7:30 AM to Noon. There is no charge for the disposal of Christmas trees.
