The Meriden Public Library's "Friends of the Library" store is holding a half-price book sale this Friday and Saturday.
From 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., shoppers can purchase donated books – many of which have not yet been displayed in the store – at half-price in the Griffin Meeting Room in the library, according to Phyllis Donovan, bookstore manager.
Proceeds from the sale support library programs.
Books available include: hardcover and paperback versions of popular fiction from romance and fantasy to mystery, espionage and science fiction, cookbooks, gardening, crafts and needlework, sports, biography, history, health and
psychology, classics, computer books and children’s books.
