Quinnipiac River Presentation Planned

"Wildlife Observations on the Quinnipiac River's Canoeable Trail" will be at 7 p.m., today.

 

Wildlife biologist Pete Picone will give a presentation on "Wildlife Observations on the Quinnipiac River's Canoeable Trail" at 7 p.m. today at the Headquarters Education Center on 540 Oregon Road.

Picone’s presentation is part of the Quinnipiac River Watershed Speaker Series, which is being sponsored by the Connecticut Light & Power Company (CL&P) and Yankee Gas. His discussion will focus on the unique habitats and wildlife found along the Quinnipiac River, from Southington to Meriden.  Picone is the author of the Quinnipiac River Canoeable Trail Guide.
