Meriden's St. Patrick's Day Parade stepped off on Saturday. Did you have a great seat? We'd love to see your photos of the parade!

 

The Meriden Division of the Ancient Order of Hibernians (America’s oldest Catholic fraternal organization and the largest Irish-American organization in the nation) hosted the 40th Annual Meriden AOH Saint Patrick’s Day parade on Saturday.

Central Connecticut’s largest parade stepped off at 2:00 p.m. from the corner of East Main Street and Parker Avenue, and continued through downtown Meriden before finishing at the corner of West Main Street and Bradley Avenue.

Brother Thomas Fahey, Director of Admissions at Xavier High School in Middletown, served as Grand Marshal of the parade, which featured over two hundred participants, including pipe bands, fife and drum corps, marching bands, youth organizations, and many other participants.
