Meriden's Len Suzio Holds Flag Event
State Sen. Len Suzio will collect old flags today for proper disposal.
On Saturday (June 2) from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., State Sen. R-Meriden, will collect tattered and torn flags at The Flag Store, 186 Hall Ave., Meriden.
The collected flags will be given to the American Legion for proper retirement.

“There are a few signs you should look for to see if your flag should be retired,” Suzio said. “For example, the flag may be faded far from its original color, frayed on the ends or have visible damage. I look forward to seeing area residents on Saturday.”
