Amazing Race, Celebrity Apprentice, Nature covers salmon

The Amazing Race: Unfinished Business, 8 p.m., CBS

Let’s just say it, shall we? CHEATERS. That’s what all the remaining teams are. Because all the remaining teams shared the correct number of kilometers with each other in Liechtenstein, meaning they all “finished” the task on the first “try,” and so they were able to stay in the race. Not the CowBros, though. They were shut out of the Cheaters Cabal, and so Jet had to drive the route twice. The Globetrotters should be drummed out of the game based on how many tasks they have “finished” but not actually done. It is outrageous. And no, I do not feel better after that rant. Tonight, “The contestants experience bone-chilling temperatures as they come face-to-face with the Matterhorn in Switzerland; tempers flare during an intense argument.”

The Celebrity Apprentice, 9 p.m., NBC

Last week’s episode was crushingly dull, right down to the ouster of poor, hoarse LaToya. Tonight, though, NeNe goes all real housewives on Star, right in front of everyone else. So we’ve got that going for us. Also, “The celebrities must put on a live hair show featuring products and stylists; a team calls on a fired contestant for help.”

Nature, 8 p.m., PBS (check listings)

Tonight, Salmon: Running the Gauntlet. “Biologists and engineers work to save collapsing Pacific salmon populations.” You would think, through the miracle of evolution, that salmon would’ve figured out an easier way of doing things after all this time, but they haven’t.  If I were a salmon, I would fail.
