A FRIEND IN NEED We've all heard the saying that it takes a village to raise a child. The same applies when one of our friends or family has experienced a major health crisis.
Terry and his children have been involved in athletics in the area for decades. Terry is known to many as a beloved football coach.
The Need: Many in the Meriden/Berlin area know that Terry experienced a stroke on October 15, 2012. He has undergone months of intensive occupational, speech, physical and cognitive therapy. Thankfully, he is on the mend, however when life seems to come to a grinding halt, our needs and the needs of the family do not.
Terry and his wife, Robin are the owners of the heating business, 'Terry's Energy'. Terry was not able to work for months and is now only able to work on a limited part-time basis.
There is medical debt that has been acquired, as well as deficit in the ability to meet the every day expenses and bills.
The Grant family is sponsoring a fund raiser for Terry. The fundraiser will be held on Saturday, March 30 from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Food and beverages will be served at a cost of $20 per ticket. There will be great food, entertainment and a raffle.
For those who aren't able to attend but would like to support this worthy cause, you can contribute at any Webster Bank in care of "Terry's Team."
