Evening Seasonal Flu Shot Clinic

 


The Meriden Health Department is now offering seasonal influenza (flu) vaccine to Meriden residents. Getting the flu vaccine is the best protection against getting sick from the flu.


Yearly flu vaccination is recommended for anyone over the age of 6 months. Any persons allergic to eggs or any part of the flu vaccine cannot get the vaccination.

The cost of the vaccine is $25.00 (cash only please) for self-pay clients. Medicare and Connecticare HMO are the only insurances accepted at this time.


The vaccine will be given at the Health Department, 165 Miller Street, Monday through Friday from 8:30am – 4:30pm. The Clinic office will be open until 6:00pm on Thursday, October 4, for an evening clinic. No appointments are necessary.
