Meriden Children First To Hold 2012 Annual Meeting and Honor Children's Champions

On Thursday, December 13, 2012, Meriden Children First will hold its Annual Meeting at the Board of Education, 22 Liberty Street, Meriden. The meeting takes place at 6 p.m.

Children First will look back on and celebrate a year of milestones and accomplishments and look ahead to the work to be done in 2013 and beyond. The organization will also announce and honor this year's Children's Champions--nominated by people in the community for their work on behalf of Meriden children--and commemorate the graduation of Meriden parents from UConn's People Empowering People (PEP) leadership training program.

“It has been a very busy year,” said Meriden Children First Executive Director David Radcliffe. “We have a lot to be thankful for, and a lot to show for our efforts.”
