Adult and Child Seasonal Flu Shots

The Meriden Health Department still has limited amounts of adult doses of seasonal influenza (flu) vaccine available. Getting the flu vaccine is the best protection against getting sick from the flu.

Yearly flu vaccination is recommended for anyone over the age of 6 months. Any persons allergic to eggs or any part of the flu vaccine cannot get the vaccination.

The cost of the vaccine is $25.00 (cash only please) for self-pay clients. Medicare and Connecticare HMO are the only insurances accepted at this time. Vaccine for Meriden children up to the age of 18 is provided at no cost.
