Stuart Grandy - A Lifetime of Art

Gallery 53, 53 Colony St. Meriden will host a monthlong show, A Lifetime of Art, a Tribute to Stuart Grandy, from
January 6 - January 31. Mr. Grandy is a local artist who specializes in watercolor. He is a a graduate of the New England School of Art and is a member of numerous art associations including the Meriden Arts Council, the Essex Art Association, the Connecticut Pastel Society and the Connecticut Watercolor Society. Mr Grandy also teaches art classes and has given numerous demonstrations throughout the state. On Sunday, January 6, from 1 -3P.M.
Gallery 53 will hold a reception to honor Mr. Grandy with a Lifetime of Art award. The public is invited to attend the reception, music will be provided by the Augustus Curtis Cultural Center Concert Band. All Gallery events are free
and ample free parking is located directly across the street.Gallery 53's First Friday open house will be held on Friday, January 4 from 4 - 7 P.M. The Artisian Gift Shop is
open during Gallery business hours and during all Gallery events. Gift certificates are available for purchases or for art classes.
