Join us on February 14 as kids read
two books about kindness and sharing. The first book, “If You Give a Mouse a
Cookie” by Laura Joffe Numeroff,
shows what happens when a generous boy gives a mouse a cookie and the chain of
events that occur after. The second book, “Plant a Kiss” by Amy Krouse
Rosenthal, shows how one small act of love blooms into something bigger and
more dazzling than one could have ever imagined. To celebrate Valentine’s Day,
kids will decorate sugar cookies with frosting and festive colored sprinkles. They
will also decorate Valentine mailboxes to put their candy and cards in.
