Who knows if we’ll look out the window this morning to an expanse of the stuff of winter?   If so, it will serve as an apt background for the focus of our worship.  If not, it will serve as an impetus to worshipfully imagine and remember the winters of knowing snow on snow.   What is winter mind if not the sense of snow?  And what is snow, but the crystalline aesthetic of winter and wonder?   At this midpoint in our church year, we will also dedicate the teachers of our children and youth.
