John Neff Watercolor Exhibit

 Gallery 53 will host a watercolor exhibit of work by internationally know watercolorist, John Neff January8 - 29.  The public is invited to a reception, at Gallery 53, on Sunday, Jan. 12 from 1-3.  Come meet the artist and view his work.  John Neff is a member of the American Watercolor Society, is listed in Who's Who in American Art and Men of Achievement - International Biography.  His work is exhibited in the Peter A. Juley Collecion in the National Museum of American Art, Smithsonian, the State Department offices in Ethiopia and in England, France, Ireland and Israel. 

    In celebration of the Chinese New Year a collection of Oriental prints will be on display during the month of January in the Artisan Gift Shop area of Gallery 53. The Nutmeg Knitting Guild meets in the upstairs conference room 7-9 on the third Wednesday of the month.  The knitting Club meets in the upstairs conference room 6-9 on the second and fourth Friday of the month.  Knitting classes and art classes are forming.  For more information contact Gallery 53, 203-235-5347 Tuesday - Friday 12 - 4, Saturday 10-2; log onto Facebook or visit the website: www.gallery53.org
