Paws to Read at the Meriden Public Library

Read to a REAL dog at the library!  One-on-one sessions build confidence for beginning readers!  Each Thursday in June (June 5, 12, 19 and 26), children will have the opportunity to practice reading aloud to a trained doberman pinscher therapy dog.  Children will have approximately 15 minutes to read.  Spots are limited and registration is required.  Children may sign up to read at 2 of the 4 sessions.  For more information, or to register, call the Tomie DePaola Children's Library at (203) 630-6347.
