Sunday August 3rd Gathering of the Vibes celebrates “Connecticut Family Day.”  From 9am to sundown kids 15 and under will be admitted for free when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Activities to be enjoyed by parents and kids include children’s entertainers, face painting, caricatures, an 85 foot high Ferris wheel, family yoga, trips to the BioBus, drum and vocal workshops, organized team sports, dancing with life-sized puppets, hair wraps, the Grateful Games Kids Olympics. On the School of Rock Stage, kids will also have a chance to jam with some of their heroes from the Main and Green Vibes stages, and enjoy musical performances by Andy “The Music Man” and more.

Spend a relaxing day with your family enjoying endless activities and great music right off Long Island Sound.  Located at: Seaside Park, Corner of Barnum Boulevard & Barnum Dyke, Bridgeport, Connecticut.

Don’t miss Sunday’s headliner Dispatch. This family friendly band doesn’t just spread their message through great music but they are known for giving back and rallying their fans behind important causes. Their most recent focus has been on America’s education crisis and educating their fans on the small acts that can make a difference. Dispatch is a band you don’t want to miss!
