THE “HARTFORD STEEL SYMPHONY” BAND RESCHEDULED

THE FREE OUTDOOR CONCERT BY THE "HARTFORD STEEL SYMPHONY" BAND HAD BEEN RESCHEDULED FROM THE 10TH TO THE 17TH OF JULY(LIGHTNING AND STEEL DRUMS DON'T PLAY TOGETHER WELL).

THIS JUST GIVES YOU MORE TIME TO "GET YOUR ISLAND ON".

Spend an evening under the stars with the Hartford Steel Symphony. Performing traditional reggae and calypso the steel pan group will keep you on your feet and bring a smile to your face. Their upbeat island sound will put you next to the ocean and fill your senses with the smell of coconut oil and images of pirate ships in the bay.

So…. bring the whole family and put yourself in vacation mode for a couple of hours and let yourself fall under the spell of Connecticut’s own Hartford Steel Symphony.

Bring a chair or a blanket and a picnic lunch if you wish (food and refreshments will be available) and enjoy a free mini-vacation on the green at 55 W. Main St. in downtown Meriden. July 10th from 7 to 9pm.
