Hot Dog Fundraiser for the Brian David Ash Memorial Fire Prevention Fund

The Brian David Ash Memorial Fire Prevention Fund will hold its major fundraiser – a hot dog sale – at Super Stop and Shop on the city's east side on Sept. 9, 10, and 11.

For $2, donors receive a hot dog, soda and chips. All the food is donated, so 100 percent of all proceeds will go to the fund.

In conjunction with the hot dog sale, a variety of free fire safety literature will be available. A raffle featuring several gift baskets will also take place. And specialty advertising items related to fire safety will be available without charge.

Contributions of any promotional products or items that may be incorporated in the display would be welcome. Cash donations are also always welcome. Donating companies will be acknowledged at the fundraiser.

The Brian David Ash Memorial Prevention Fund operates under the Meriden Foundation, a tax-exempt, charitable trust managed by Webster Financial Advisors.
