One More Chance to Celebrate St. Patrick's Day in Meriden

The Ancient Order of Hibernians annual parade steps off Sunday afternoon, March 23.

There's another chance to celebrate St. Patrick's Day this weekend in Meriden.

The Ancient Order of Hibernians' Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade will kick off at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 23, next to the Stop-n-Shop located at 485 Broad Street. From there the route will go down East Main Street to West Main and end at Bradley Avenue.

The route will run through downtown and end at Bradley Avenue. Among the marchers will be Lt. Gov. Nancy Wyman.

Again this year, the Midstate Chamber of Commerce's Young Business Leaders Group will walk the route and collect food and monetary donations to be distributed to local food pantries.

Will you be wearing the green at the parade? Send us your photos from the parade.
