Crash on East Main at Swain Avenue Sends One to Hospital
East Main Street has reopened to traffic.
Meriden police are investigating a crash that sent at least one person to the hospital Monday afternoon.
The accident happened shortly before 4 p.m., along East Main Street at the intersection of Swain Avenue.
One of the vehicles involved in the crash sustained significant front end damage, and a person in the vehicle at the time of the crash was transported by ambulance to the hospital. It is unclear whether the victim was the driver or a passenger in the vehicle.
