Meriden Police Apprehend Suspect Called 'Armed and Dangerous'

The 19-year-old was reportedly taken into police custody without incident.

The "armed and dangerous" man Meriden Police they were searching for Friday morning was taken into custody at 2 p.m. Friday without incident.

Police said Zackery Lariviere, 19, was walking on Hanover Street when officers apprehended him.

Lariviere was charged with reckless endangerment, breach of peace, second-degree threatening, disorderly conduct and harassment. He was allegedly involved in a domestic incident that happened late Thursday night on West Main Street, police said. 

The Hartford Courant is reporting that following that incident, Lariviere allegedly sent an email with a photo of himself with a gun, and saying, "I have four bullets: three for the police, and one for me," on Friday.

He is being held, with bail set at $150,000 and a court date of Aug. 22, according to a police statement.
