Meriden Police Blotter: A Rash of Breach of Peace, Drug Wars and More

The following arrest information was provided by the Meriden Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Meriden police have found themselves busy over the past several days with a rash of breach of peace cases, larceny, drug cases and more. Take a look back at the latest arrest logs.

The Meriden Police Department reported the following arrests:

August 1

Richard Boland, 50, of 199 E. Main St. in Meriden, was charged with breach of peace, Aug. 1.

Rosa Spencer, 66, of 35 Willow St. in Meriden, was charged with breach of peace, Aug. 1.

Katherine Lawrence, 25, of 787 N. Colony Road in Meriden, was charged with second-degree harassment and second-degree threatening, Aug. 1.

DaJauhn Correa, 18, of 250 E. Main St. in Meriden, was charged with second-degree breach of peace and third-degree assault, Aug. 1.

Johnnie Howard, 50, of 6 Lincoln Terrace in Meriden, was charged with second-degree breach of peace and third-degree assault, Aug. 1.

Maisonet Ray, 35, of no given address, was charged with second-degree breach of peace and third-degree assault, Aug. 1.

Peter Romero, 38, of 12 Elm St. in Meriden, was charged with disorderly conduct and third-degree criminal mischief, Aug. 1.

Stanley Raymond Haig, 50, of 162 Atkins St. in Meriden, was charged with disorderly conduct, second-degree breach of peace and second-degree threatening, Aug. 1.

David Gray, 48, of 393 Center St. in Meriden, was charged with misuse of plates and possession of a stolen license plate, Aug. 1.

August 2

Tyler L. Williams, 18, of 55 Peacock Drive in Meriden, was charged with second-degree breach of peace and third-degree assault, Aug. 2.

Leonard Bunch, 37, of 17 Webster St. in Meriden, was charged with possession of a hallucinogen, possession with the intent to sell and conspiracy to commit sale of a hallucinogen, Aug. 2.

Samuel Virella, 36, of 33 Prospect St. in Meriden, was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, Aug. 2.

Michael Rivera, 39, of 30 Monroe St. in Meriden, was charged with second-degree breach of peace, Aug. 2.

Timothy Adkins, 28, of 434 S. Main St. in New Britain, was charged with carrying a dangerous weapon and possession of a controlled substance, Aug. 2.

August 3

Jasmine Q. Brown, 23, of 711 Congress Ave. in New Haven, was charged with evading responsibility in an accident and failure to drive in proper lane, Aug. 3.

Paul James LaCoursiere, 32, of 37 Sylvan Ave. in Meriden, was charged with disorderly conduct, Aug. 3.

William Cardona, 28, of 87 High St. in Meriden, was charged with risk of injury to a minor, third-degree assault and disorderly conduct, Aug. 3.

Joe L. Jackson, of 132 Collins St. in Hartford, was charged with failure to register as a sex offender, Aug. 3.

Sandra Rivera, 47, of 142 Gracey Ave. in Meriden, was charged with sixth-degree larceny, Aug. 3.

August 4

Crystal Nelson, of 581 Crown St. in Meriden, was charged with first-degree reckless endangerment, second-degree threatening, second-degree assault and disorderly conduct, Aug. 4.

Humberto Rivera, 36, of 10 LaFayette Road in Brewster, N.Y., was charged with second-degree reckless endangerment, interfering with an officer and reckless driving, Aug. 4.

Robert Yance Pike, 42, of 45 W. Davis Road in Greenfield, Ind., was charged with violation of probation, Aug. 4.

Carlos Luna, 34, of 48 Vine St. in Meriden, was charged with operating an unregistered motor vehicle, insufficient insurance, operating a motor vehicle without a license and misuse of marker plates, Aug. 4.

Lisa M. Adams, 26, of 78 Westview Drive in Meriden, was charged with second-degree breach of peace, third-degree assault and sixth-degree larceny, Aug. 4.

Doreen Harvey-Hancharyk, 66, of 2 Washington Heights in Meriden, was charged with driving under the influence, unsafe backing, failure to carry insurance card and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, Aug. 4.

August 5

Luis Hernandez, 47, of 238 Pratt St. in Meriden, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to meet bike safety requirements, Aug. 5.

Other stats from reported traffic stops and incidents:

Thirteen (13) people were cited with failure to obey stop sign/traffic signal.
Seven people were cited with operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
Five people were cited with creating a public disturbance.
Five people were cited with operating a motor vehicle without a license.
Five people were cited with operating a motor vehicle under suspension.
Three people were cited with failure to have proper headlights/tail lamps/break lights.
Three people were cited with failure to insure motor vehicle.
Two people were cited with speeding/traveling too fast.
Two people were cited with failure to carry an insurance card.
Two people were cited with failure to renew registration.
Two people were cited with unsafe backing/following too close.
Two people were cited with passing on the right/passing in a no passing zone.
Two people were cited with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
Two people were cited with public drinking.
One person was cited with failure to make proper turn.
One person was cited with failure to use turn signal.
One person was cited with driving the wrong way on a one way street.
One person was cited with distracted driving.
One person was cited with simple trespassing.
One person was cited with improper use of a license plate or markers.
One person was cited with seat belt violation.
