Meriden Police Blotter: Disorderly Conducts, Criminal Violations Keep Police Busy

It's been a turbulent week for the Meriden Police Department with one case making headlines but officers have remained on the roads and busy. Take a look back at the latest arrest logs.

The Meriden Police Department reported the following arrests:

June 7


James Jason Higgins, 32, of 455 Broad St. in Meriden, was charged with disorderly conduct and second-degree unlawful restraint, June 7.

Alvin Jiminez, 36, of 95 Colony St. in Meriden, was charged with failure to respond, June 7.

David Jiminez, 28, of 26 Vale Ave. in Meriden, was charged with operating a motor vehicle under suspension, insufficient insurance, misuse of marker plates and operating an unregistered motor vehicle, June 7.

June 8

David Roldan, of 624 W. Main St. in Meriden, was charged with fourth-degree larceny and having tinted windows without an inspection, June 8.

Noemi Gamboa, of 16 Gilbert Road in Meriden, was charged with violation of a criminal restraining order, June 8.

Patrick Hayes, 30, of 255 E. Woodland St. in Meriden, was charged with violation of probation, June 8.

Deborah Austin, 51, of 75 Warren St. in Meriden, was charged with disorderly conduct and criminal mischief, June 8.

June 9

Jose Tlaxcala-Solano, 30, of 258 E. Main St. in Meriden, was charged with driving under the influence, operating a motor vehicle under suspension and second-degree failure to appear, June 9.

June 10

Darren Green, 52, of 487 W. Main St. in Meriden, was charged with violation of a protective order, third-degree criminal mischief and disorderly conduct, June 10.

Other stats from reported traffic stops and incidents:

  • Eleven (11) people were cited with violations of city park ordinances.
  • Three people were cited with failure to obey stop sign/traffic signal.
  • Three people were cited with operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
  • Three people were cited with creating a public disturbance.
  • Two people were cited with speeding/traveling too fast.
  • Two people were cited with failure to have headlights lit.
  • Two people were cited with operating a motor vehicle under suspension.
  • One person was cited with failure to renew registration.
  • One person was cited with failure to carry a license.
  • One person was cited with operating a motor vehicle without a license.
  • One person was cited with failure to grant right of way.
  • One person was cited with following too close.
  • One person was cited with unsafe movement of a motor vehicle.
