Meriden Police Blotter: Drugs, Thefts and Assault

The busy week for Meriden police continued as officers reported numerous arrests including ones in drug, larceny and assault cases. Take a look back at the latest arrest logs.

The Meriden Police Department reported the following arrests:

July 23

Ashley Lana, 18, of 4 Alicia Lane in Middletown, was charged with sixth-degree larceny, July 23.

Richard Perez, 21, of 34 Centennial Ave. in Meriden, was charged with disorderly conduct, July 23.

Manuel Maldonado, 23, of 42 Howe St. in Meriden, was charged with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault on a pregnant person, July 23.

Hipatia Medina-Ramos, 25, of 42 Howe St. in Meriden, was charged with disorderly conduct, July 23.

July 24

Andre Green, 46, of 1096 Blue Hills Ave. in Bloomfield, was charged with second-degree breach of peace, July 24.

Shari Gauvin, 45, of 60 Centennial Ave. in Meriden, was charged with second-degree breach of peace, July 24.

Ciarra N. Chambers, 18, of 487 W. Main St. in Meriden, was charged with disorderly conduct and third-degree criminal mischief, July 24.

Dayna A. Heise, 48, of 46 Parker Ave. in Meriden, was charged with eight counts of sixth-degree larceny, July 24.

Jose Alicia, 34, of 766 Broad St. in Meriden, was charged with reckless endangerment, third-degree assault, strangulation, disorderly conduct, possession of illegal drugs, sale of illegal drugs, possession of drugs in a prohibited place and second-degree causing damage to railroad property, July 24.

Jarlik Evans, 19, of 525 Crown St. in Meriden, was charged with criminal mischief and disorderly conduct, July 24.

Yvonne Wright, 29, of 64 Piedmont St. in Meriden, was charged with third-degree assault, July 24.

William Abeling, 27, of 400 Edgemark Acres in Meriden, was charged with four counts of possession of a hallucinogen, four counts of possession of a hallucinogen with the intent to sell and four counts of conspiracy to commit possession of a hallucinogen, July 24.

July 25

Edward A. Pagan, 47, of 29 Fols Ave. in Meriden, was charged with second-degree breach of peace, third-degree criminal mischief, risk of injury to a minor, second-degree reckless endangerment and possession of narcotics, July 25.

Glenda E. Santana, 26, of 249 Britannia St. in Meriden, was charged with sixth-degree larceny, July 25.

James Nelson, 24, of 39 Ames St. in Meriden, was charged with second-degree breach of peace and violation of a protective order, July 25.

Frankie Hernandez,46, of no given address, was charged with third-degree assault, second-degree breach of peace and third-degree criminal trespassing, July 25.

Bridgette Kane, 33, of 272 W. Main St. in Meriden, was charged with operating an unregistered motor vehicle and misuse of plates, July 25.

Peter Kontos, 52, of 75 Warren St. in Meriden, was charged with breach of peace, second-degree threatening and criminal trespassing, July 25.

Thomas Bell, 39, of 581 Crown St. in Meriden, was charged with violation of probation, breach of peace, second-degree threatening and criminal trespassing, July 25.

Jacob Tracy, 21, of 167 Centennial Ave. in Meriden, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, July 25.

Kaval Patel, 20, of 525 Crown St. in Meriden, was charged with possession of narcotics, possession of drug paraphernalia and serving liquor to a minor, July 25.

Steven White, 44, of 19 Jefferson Circle in Clinton, was charged with fourth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit fourth-degree larceny, July 25.

Wesley Grimes, 30, of 3 Short St. in New Britain, was charged with two counts of violation of probation, July 25.

Robert Varano, 28, of 107 Quarry Lane in Meriden, was charged with fifth-degree larceny, July 25.

Jenny Lopez, 31, of 19 Jefferson Circle in Clinton, was charged with second-degree failure to appear, fourth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit fourth-degree larceny, July 25.

Jamie Hess, 32, of 115 Franklin St. in Meriden, was charged with interfering with police and possession of narcotics, July 25.

Other stats from reported traffic stops and incidents:

Six people were cited with simple trespassing.
Five people were cited with failure to obey stop sign/traffic signal.
Four people were cited with operating a motor vehicle under suspension.
Four people were cited with speeding/traveling too fast.
Two people were cited with operating a motor vehicle without a license.
Two people were cited with unsafe backing.
Two people were cited with operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
Two people were cited with failure to insure motor vehicle.
Two people were cited with creating a public disturbance.
One person was cited with failure to renew registration.
One person was cited with failure to have front marker plate.
One person was cited with failure to have stop lamps/turn signal.
One person was cited with allowing a dog to be a nuisance.
One person was cited with violation of park curfew.
One person was cited with public drinking.
One person was cited with failure to gain motorcycle endorsement.
One person was cited with failure to grant right of way.
