Meriden Woman Sustains Life-Threatening Injuries in Middletown Crash
Lifestar transported the woman to a Hartford hospital.
A Meriden woman is fighting for her life Saturday after being involved in a gruesome motor vehicle accident on Interstate 91 in Middletown late Friday, NBC Connecticut reports.
Michelle Halverson, 26, sustained life-threatening injuries in the one car crash that occurred near Exit 20. According to State Police it appears she lost control of her vehicle, hit a traffic control sign, and her car then flipped numerous times before landing in the shoulder, NBC reports.
Lifestar helicopter transported her to a Hartford hospital. The accident remains under investigation.
