Hollister and Co. employee is accused of stealing credit cards from the lockers of three fellow employees.

Meriden Police arrested a former employee of the clothing store Hollister and Co. in Westfield Shopping Center Sunday, charging her with allegedly stealing and using the credit cards of three fellow employees.

Police arrested Ashley Jones, 22, of 352 Newfield St., Middletown on three separate warrants. She is charged with three counts each of credit card theft, credit card fraud, second degree forgery and sixth degree larceny, according to police logs.

Police say Jones allegedly stole the credit cards of three co-workers of Hollister and Co. from the wallets they placed in their employee lockers in November 2011.

Jones allegedly admitted taking the cards to store security after they asked her about the thefts, according to Det. Lt. Mark Walerysiak.

The woman was also seen on a video tape police retrieved from a package store in Middletown using one of the stolen cards fraudulently, Walerysiak sad.

Jones was held on bond and was in court today, Monday, March 26.
