Police Continue Investigation Into Death at Meriden Inn

 

Meriden Police are continuing their investigation into the death of a man who was found Sunday evening in a hotel room at The Meriden Inn, according to published reports.

The man appeared to be in his mid-40s, police said. The cause of death had not been determined as of Sunday night.

Police responded to the scene at 5:29 p.m. Feb. 23 at the Inn at 1102 E. Main St. Meriden Police Major Crimes Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators were called to investigate the scene, according to The Hartford Courant.

Lt. Salvatore J. Nesci said Sunday that it was “too soon to determine” if any foul play was involved, adding that the medical examiner had been called in. But he also said there wasn't any threat to the public, according to the Record Journal.
