Police are asking that the driver and occupants of a vehicle seen at the corner of Olive and Crown streets the night of double fatal shooting earlier this month contact the detectives division about the incident.
Detectives do not believe the occupant(s) of the vehicle are suspects in the crime; rather they appear to be witnesses to the incident, according to a police news release.
On Thursday, Det. Lt. Mark Walerysiak released two photos of a dark colored vehicle at the intersection and has asked the general public to help identify the driver and occupants, and compel them to contact the department.
On Aug. 14 about 10:10 p.m., Meriden police officers were dispatched to the intersection of .
Upon arrival, officers found two men on the ground with life-threatening injuries. Meriden police as Anthony Anderson, 25, and Melvin Silva-Pizarro, 30, both Meriden residents.
Police rushed both Anderson and Silva-Pizarro to a nearby hospital .
Meriden police detectives are asking that the driver and/or passengers of the vehicle contact them at (203) 630-6219.
The case remains under investigation.
