Police: Pedestrian Struck on Lewis Ave. Suffered Minor Injuries
Rush-hour accident victims were taken to an area hospital.
At approximately 5:23 p.m. Wednesday, a pedestrian was struck by a car on Lewis Ave., Meriden Police confirmed Wednesday.
The police desk sergeant said those in the accident suffered only minor injuries and were transported to an area hospital.
Police said they could not confirm the gender of the pedestrian, but the Meriden Record-Journal is reporting that the person hit was a woman with a child.
