Police Seek Suspect in Express Shop Robbery

Meriden Police released the photo of a man Tuesday suspected in the April 14 armed robbery of an East Main Street convenience store.

Meriden Police released the photo of a suspect in the April 14 armed robbery of an East Main Street convenience store Tuesday afternoon.

The photo, a video still captured from a store security camera shows a white male with a large build, wearing sunglasses and a bandana over his face, who police say is a suspect in the armed robbery of the Express Shop at 1440 E. Main St. The crime occured at about 7:45 p.m. last Thursday.

The man is described as approximately 6 feet tall, and is also under suspicion for other commercial robberies in Meriden and Wallingford. Meriden Police are asking for anyone with information to contact them at 203-630-6201.
