Police: Local Woman Arrested for Fourth Time

Natasha Akers was charged last week with violating a protective order and second degree harassment, according to police.

 

A Meriden woman charged with stealing a Killingworth man's identity last year was arrested for the fourth time last week, according to Conn. State Police logs.

On Friday, March 9, state police charged Natasha Elena Akers, 29, of 15 Thompson Crest, Meriden, with violating a protective order and second degree harassment. She was taken into custody without incident, police say.

Akers, who previously lived in Middletown, faces similar charges on Feb. 20.

In Oct. 2011, Akers was  of credit card fraud after police say she used the victim's identity to acquire a credit card and then used it to purchase items.

Akers has pleaded not guilty to the charges, according to court records.

She was previously arrested on a disorderly conduct charge, records show.
