State Police: One Fatal Accident Resulting in Two Deaths Over Holiday Weekend
State police issue Labor Day weekend statistics.
During this holiday weekend, the Connecticut State Police reported one fatal accident resulting in two deaths, in a press release from the Connecticut State Police.
More than 1,000 speeding citations were issued.
State police anticipated heavier than normal weekend traffic for the 2011 Labor Day Holiday. Utilizing aircraft, unmarked patrol vehicles, and additional manpower, the State Police were able to increase the public safety to the highways and secondary roads of our state.
