Viewfinder: Officer Buck and Anouke Visit St. Joseph School
Meriden Police K-9 Officer David Buck and his dog, Anouke, showed off their skills at St. Joseph School Friday.
At on Friday, recess ended with a special treat: A visit from Meriden Police Officer David Buck and his K-9 counterpart, Anouke.
Officer Buck, who just happens to be the son of school secretary Lynn Buck, told the children how he got Anouke as a puppy and went through special training with her. Giving commands in German, he walked Anouke through a demonstration of police skills like tracking bad guys and sniffing out drugs. Check out the short video clips of Anouke's tricks.
