$550 Million Powerball Drawing is Tonight

Connecticut is one of 42 states that offer the lottery game; find Meriden retailers and tips on how to play here.

 

The historic Powerball jackpot rose to a record $550 million on Tuesday and many Meriden residents are expected to purchase a ticket Wednesday — if they haven't already.

According to the official Powerball website, the drawing will be held tonight at 10:59 p.m. In Connecticut, the drawing will be televised live on WTIC-TV/FOX 61.

There has been no Powerball winner since Oct. 6. The chance of winning the $550 million jackpot is 1 in 175,223,510.
