Bartolomeo Has Scoop on Children's Issues Ahead of Legislature
The Meriden state senator, chair of both the Children's and the Housing Committees at the state Capitol, is this week's guest of the Middlesex Coalition for Children in Middletown.

Sen. Dante Bartolomeo is this week's Middlesex Coalition for Children guest at the DeKoven House, 27 Washington Street, Middletown, from 9-10 a.m.
The state legislative session is in the home stretch. If a budget can be agreed, the session will end June 5.
How are children doing? Some changes have been proposed — an office of early childhood, a home visiting system, improvements in children’s mental health services and more. Spending decisions will decide the fate of several important local programs like Even Start and Family School Connection.
Bartolomeo represents half of Middletown, Middlefield, Meriden and Cheshire, is the Senate chair of both the Children’s and the Housing Committees. She has a special focus on improving mental health services for children.
