CL&P, Yankee Gas, Will Remain in Berlin

The utilities are affected by a proposed NU merger.

 

The offices of and will remain in nearby Berlin under the proposed NU-NSTAR merger, which was granted preliminary approval Monday by state regulators.

The Connecticut Public Utilities Regulatory Authority approved the merger in a draft decision issued yesterday, according to a story today in the Hartford Courant.
