Community Corner

CT Business Day at the Legislative Office Building

With a new governor, many new state legislators, and Connecticut facing a historic fiscal and economic crisis, it’s especially critical this year that you communicate with your elected officials about the issues that affect your ability to grow and create jobs here. That’s why we all need to participate in Connecticut Business Day at the state capitol.

This annual event is your chance to join members of the business community from across the state in frank discussions with key legislators on issues ranging from state spending to the rising costs of health care and energy. This half-day morning program will give you the opportunity to help educate and work with state legislators on issues that impact your business and Connecticut's economy.

Connecticut Business Day will include presentations by business and government leaders as well as several breakout sessions. The event is sponsored by the Connecticut Business and Industry Association (CBIA) and the Connecticut Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives.
