Wreaths across America Returns to Walnut Grove Cemetery to Honor Veterans

Wreaths across America  is bringing its moving ceremony to honor veterans back to Walnut Grove Cemetery on Saturday, December 10, 2011.

The ceremony will include the laying of seven memorial wreaths to signify the seven military branches. Local and state officials and veterans groups will be on hand. As part of the ceremony, the Civil Air Patrol squadron will march up to the flagpole where 14 Civil War vets are laid to rest and play Taps.

Directions: Please drive through the entrance nearest the chapel. As you come through the gates, bear to the right side of the chapel (Section J) and try to park to the left of that driveway. Walk through the memorial garden to the end.
