On March 15, Gov. Dannel Malloy will hold a town hall meeting in Meriden, one of 17 such meetings he has scheduled throughout Connecticut until April, aides announced today.

“It’s important that we have a chance to talk about some of the changes I’m proposing to help create new jobs and get our state’s fiscal house in order, and I want to hear what people think,” Malloy said in a statement. Malloy will present his budget plans for the next fiscal year Wednesday.

The meetings will be a face-to-face way to talk with the new governor, according to the release. Malloy previously held such events as mayor of Stamford.

The Meriden meeting's location and time have not yet been decided.
