The City of Meriden has declared a parking ban on city streets Wednesday starting at 8 a.m., due to an impending snow storm, according to Meriden Police. The ban will be in effect until the city notifies residents and visitors otherwise.
The National Weather Service says the Meriden area will likely see snow begin mainly after noon and might have about 1 - 2 inches accumulate throughout the afternoon.
Meriden's Public Schools will have early dismissal Wednesday because of the projected storm, more information can be found .
The state will partially activate its Emergency Operations Center , particularly on the afternoon commute.
