On the first Thursday of each month, Suzio will sit down for a cup of coffee with area residents at the Green Olive Diner.

State Sen. Len Suzio (R-Meriden) kicks off his new monthly "Coffee with Len" program this Thursday, Jan. 5.

From 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. on the first Thursday of each month, Suzio will sit down for a cup of Joe with area residents interested in talking about state government at the Green Olive Diner, 477 South Broad Street, Meriden.

“I urge residents to stop by Thursday morning to tell me their thoughts, comments and suggestions about how state government can better serve you,” Suzio said in a press release Wednesday. “This is an informal way for me to connect with greater Meriden taxpayers. I am fighting for them in Hartford – fighting to lower taxes and to reduce wasteful government spending."

In nearby Cheshire, part of which is also in the state senator's district, along with Middlefield and part of Middletown, “Coffee With Len” will be held every second Tuesday of the month from 7:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. at Bagelicious, 945 South Main Street, Cheshire.
